If Hope is the heart of Hope Reins then her friend and long-time volunteer Kathy was the soul of this program. In addition to being part of everything that goes on here, Kathy also donated her horse "Destiny" to special needs riders. Kathy was the 'Poster Child' of selfless giving and even attended fundraisers and board meetings while fighting cancer; a battle she lost last April. Hope Reins will never be the same.
Hope (middle) with Gayle (left) and Judy (right) from JEEP BEACH- very thoughtful and generous supporters whose annual donations provide critical resources enabling this therapeutic, equestrian program to currently serve approximately 50 special needs riders. Gayle passed away last year but her Spirit lives on at Hope Reins, where her new role is "The Hope Reins Angel." THANK YOU!!
Volunteers work directly with certified instructors to assist our riders before, during, and after their lessons. Volunteers get ride time and discounted lessons! WE NEED YOU!
Your donation of $45 dollars pays for one therapeutic riding lesson
for a child who might otherwise be unable to participate.
